HI Everyone, Homers Mom here!
Homer had surgery today to correct a problem with his left eyelid. He did great. He is now recovering and will be back to update you all as soon as he's able. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of my little man before, during and after surgery.

Homer has eaten a little bit of wet food and right now he is "stumbling" around the house. He's still pretty drunk and wobbly, but is enjoying checking everything out.

Thanks for the update. Glad he made it through the surgery without any problems. He is such a sweet boy and we are so glad he has so many friends especially the ones at the clinic. Sending lots of purrs to ya Homer. Demand lots of treats.

One time when my human brother was quite small, his birthday fell on a day when the family was to spend most of the day traveling by car on a summer trip. So since he was too young to really get calendars and such, they simply announced that it was his birthday, and celebrated, a few days later when he was back home and could have a fun day. Maybe Homer's "birthday" can be next weekend.
We are relieved that dear sweet little Homer is OK after his surgery. We worried abowt him.
We hope he is being spoiled rotten today to make up for missing his birthday.
