My eye has been "leaking" lately. Well, the place where my left eye used to be. Mommy was worried and took me to work and the doc said that it was ok..It's not completely closed, but she didn't think it was worth putting me under anesthesia. My silly mom worries about EVERYTHING. You would think that after all these years working in veterinary medicine she would relax. But she says when it comes to her babies, all her knowledge goes out the window. Isn't that so silly? I have to go now and give her a few head butts..See you tomorrow...

I'm glad you're okay, Homer! Although my human is overprotective more often than not, a couple of times she has caught something wrong with us that her boyfriend did not think was important, that DID need to be taken care of!
You are such a special boy, and had such a rough start, that we understand your Mom being a little extra cautious about you, Homer. Glad all was found to be OK. Give those headbutts, though.
We think all moms are like dat but yoor mom is prolly more so acuz of yoor start in life. Zippy has missing toes on her front paws from a accident and mom starts worrying effury time she sits wif one of her paws up. We all do it, but she gets all weerded out when Zippy does it.
Good to hear you are OK Homer. Dads are the same way. If I notice anything suspicious it is off to the vet we go.

We are so happy your eye is okay! Maybe your mom should get you a patch to wear over that eye then you could be an official pirate kitty! We have always wondered why that eye wasn't stitched closed. It in no way makes you any less CUTE! We have a mom like that too. Always worrying and running to the vet or ER vet for the least little thing. But we are fairly young still, not like the seniors she use to have than cost her lots of green papers in vet bills. But well worth it!
